Saint Mary's College Gaels

With 16 NCAA Division 1 teams including basketball, soccer, cross-country, softball, and baseball fielded from 2,800 undergraduate students, athletics truly unifies our student body. Saint Mary's sends more than 300 Division 1 athletes to the field, course, court, track, and water to compete at the highest level as the only liberal arts college in the West Coast Conference.

Joseph Alioto Recreation Center

Whether you want to relax by the pool, lift weights, or drop into a yoga class, the Rec Center has it all. There’s also a rock-climbing wall, three courts for indoor sports, a hydrotherapy spa, and a fully-equipped fitness center. All SMC students who are currently enrolled in classes have access to the facility.

Gael Force

Gael Force is the most enthusiastic student cheering squad in the country, encouraging students to make the UCU Pavilion one of the loudest college sports venues in the country.
