Based on his 2013 book, "Hope Sings, So Beautiful: Graced Encounters Across the Color Line," Dr. Pramuk will speak on racism and racial injustices, which he describes as symptoms of a profound poverty and captivity of imagination. Drawing examples from musician Stevie Wonder, Catholic philopher Charles Taylor, and others, Dr. Pramuk will invite us to imagine artistic and prophetic practices toward cross-racial encounter and racial justice.
