Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Seeks Out Brother Charles Hilken For Insight Into Vatican Splendors

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette interviews Saint Mary's Brother Charles Hilken about "Vatican Splendors: A Journey through Faith and Art," a touring exhibition of nearly 200 works of art and historically significant objects, many of which have never left the Vatican. The newspaper sought out Hilken, a professor of medieval history and a consultant for the exhibition (currently on display in Pittsburgh) for insight into some of the featured works by Michelangelo, including an early cast of the Pietà from St. Peter's Basilica.
