Project Management works with Facilities Services to ensure projects are commissioned, completed and signed off; ready for Operations!

Planning

•Project requests may be submitted in School Dude as a “Capital Project”, or

fill out a Project Request form click Here

•Scope, schedule and budget will be prepared:

•includes engineering, design, and estimating as needed

•Approval of the request is granted at the appropriate level of management, e.g.:

•Director > Dean(s) > PFC/CFPC > Budget Committee > Cabinet > CFO > President

•Work will be scheduled in the appropriate fiscal year’s budget

Preparation

•Safety first: work with EH&S to identify and mitigate issues and hazards

•Competitive contracting/procurement practices to ensure cost, quality and schedule control

Plant Fund Project requests are best submitted before Thanksgiving in order to allow Planning to prepare them for consideration in the upcoming fiscal year budget
