Professional Overview: 

Dr. Kelly Weidner has her PhD in Marketing from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Kelly also holds an MBA in Marketing and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management. Her research is published in the Journal of Product Innovation Management, the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Product and Brand Management, among others. Prior to pursuing a career in academia, Kelly worked for 8 years in corporate marketing for companies including DIRECTV and Levi Strauss & Co. She teaches at both the graduate and undergraduate level at SMC.
