[Need A Parking Permit?] Spring Update from Campus Safety and Transportation

February 3, 2021

Dear SMC Campus Community,

We look forward to seeing you on campus in Spring Term! Here’s a quick update with parking and transportation information for you.

Parking Permits for Spring

If you are planning to bring a vehicle to campus, you do need the appropriate parking permit, E (employee), CS (commuter student), R (resident student), or RD (resident director). We will be extending the suspension of parking permit fees through the Spring term. If you still have your permit from the Fall term, you may continue to use it through the Spring. If you need to order one or need a replacement, please use the following google form found at this link.

Campus Access for Spring

  • If you do not live on campus and expect to be on campus 1-2 times a week, you will need to be added to the campus access list. Please confirm with your supervisor that they have added you to this list.
  • If you are an off-campus student taking a select in-person class on campus, your name will be added to the campus access list.
  • If you bring a vehicle to campus, Interim Parking Coordinator Lila Leath will provide you with a campus-approved placard that you can show at the Campus Safety Kiosk in addition to your parking permit.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Lila Leath, Interim Parking Coordinator directly via email (lml2@stmarys-ca.edu).

In-Person Office Hours for Spring

The Campus Safety Office will be providing in-office hours starting February 3, every Wednesday- Friday from 1:00 pm- 8:00 pm. You may contact Lila Leath by email.

Thank you, and let us know if you have questions!

Kindest Regards,

Lila Leath
