Afro-Latinx/Latinx/Indigenous People's Action Subcommittee

The Afro-Latinx/Latinx/Indigenous People's Action subcommittee aims to actively inform and support policies, practices, and behaviors fostering inclusive community-building to promote healing and wellness in our Afro-Latinx/Latinx/Indigenous communities. We will do this via the promotion of equitable, and collaborative work grounded in the rich traditions of resistance, liberation, and social justice from our Afro/Indigenous Latinx Communities.

The Afro-Latinx/Latinx/Indigenous People's Action Subcommittee exists to Improve the quality of Afro-Latinx/Latinx/Indigenous students, faculty, and staff experiences on campus; Participate in actions and events dedicated to celebrating Afro-Latinx/Latinx identity in programs like Afro-Latinx/Latinx Heritage Month; Provide consultative support to the CCIE and to all College departments in service to the needs of Afro-Latinx/Latinx students, faculty, and staff of Saint Mary’s College, and in solidarity with Black Lives Matter and other marginalized groups.

ALLIPAS meets every Wednesday at 2 pm. Join us!
