Set Your Own Pace

Customize your program and complete your degree in 14-26 months. Students meet with the Graduate Program Director in advance of their first term to develop an academic plan that works specifically with their interests and goals, and to establish a specific timeline to graduation.

Application Deadline

  • Summer 2018: March 1st (priority deadline); April 1st (final deadline)
  • Fall 2018: June 1st (priority deadline); July 1st (final deadline)

Applicants interested in pursuing an Incoming Student Scholarship should submit their application materials by March 1, 2018 (summer start) or June 1, 2018 (fall start).

The Students

Many students come to the program with undergraduate degrees or practical work experience in Kinesiology or related academic areas, but others have degrees from a variety of diverse fields including sociology, environmental science, communications, history and English. Our students are united by their passion for teaching, coaching, or working in fitness and sport.


Tuition for the 2017-2018 academic year beginning summer 2017 is $964 per unit. Financial aid and other funding opportunities, including scholarships and internships, are available for those who qualify.
