Jumpstart Corps Members (Apply by 3/29/20)

Jumpstart is working toward the day every child in America enters school prepared to succeed.

Engaged Learning Facilitators (ELFs) (Apply by 3/15/20)

ELFs serve as liaisons between faculty members teaching community engagement (CE) courses, the students enrolled in those courses, and the community partners with whom students serve.

MICAH Summer Fellowship (Apply by 3/15/20)

The MICAH Summer Fellowship allows 18 SMC & USD students to live/learn and serve with various communities in the Bay Area OR Tijuana, Mexico. 

Monument Corps for Middle School Success (Apply by 3/15/20)

Monument Corps team members support academic achievement and social emotional development of middle school students engaged in the Teen Center at Alameda Point Collaborative and De La Salle Middle School. Team members implement enrichment activities, academic mentoring, and family engagement programming. Public Service Internship Program (PSI) (Apply by 3/29/20)

The PSI is an independent study experience where students are unpaid interns (8-10 hours/week for one semester) at Bay Area non-profits, city governments, and any type of entity that would fall under the notion of “public service.”  Students will strengthen skills and knowledge for working in the non-profit and public service sector, explore vocations through the lens of personal and professional development, and review and discuss academic content related to public service and the specific organizations’ work.
