Bilingual Authorization in Spanish Virtual Information Session: Kalmanovitz School of Education

Date & Time:
Tuesday, June 14, 2022 - 4 p.m.

Districts across the Bay Area and California are expanding their bilingual programs, and bilingual teachers are in high demand. Many districts offer annual stipends to teachers with Bilingual Authorizations, meaning that the authorization can pay for itself in one or two years.

The KSOE Bilingual Authorization in Spanish certifies you to teach in bilingual, dual-language, and dual-immersion programs from TK-12th grade. Our program is currently accepting applications for Summer and Fall 2022.

The Bilingual Authorization can be added to your preliminary or clear Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist teaching credential in just 5 units.

Program highlights:

  • A fully online program designed for busy teachers
  • Courses that support you to apply what you’re learning in your own classroom and teach you to design innovative and responsive instruction
  • Small classes, taught by experienced bilingual faculty
  • A focus on culturally and linguistically responsive pedagogy to create rigorous and supportive learning experiences for your students
  • An option to combine the program with our Master of Arts in Teaching program
