130 Proud KSOE Graduates

On Sunday, May 20, graduates of the Kalmanovitz School of Education (KSOE) along with others from Saint Mary's College Graduate and Professional Programs graced the stage in Saint Mary's Stadium to proudly receive their degrees. Despite the sweltering heat, there were only smiles from the families and friends of KSOE's newest crop of alumni. The Educational Leadership Program conferred (53) degrees and Counseling (46). Thirty-one (31) teachers earned master's degrees designed to further their knowledge in specific areas. Jeffrey Smith, Ed.D., was given the Dean's Award in recognition for the Outstanding Dissertation in the Educational Leadership Program.

Following the Commencement ceremony, KSOE graduates and their families and friends were treated to a celebratory reception in the Soda Center where there was food, drink, and a special gift from Dean Phyllis Metcalf Turner for each of the graduates. You can see more photos of some of our grads here.
